When positions become available, the Tomball Police Department will be looking for a few good Police Officers, Communications Specialists and Public Safety Officers. 
The City of Tomball, a rapidly growing, progressive community of traditional family values is accepting applications for full-time Police Officers. As a northwest suburb of Houston, Tomball serves a residential population of approximately 11,000 and a daytime business and commuter population of approximately 100,000.

The below list identifies the steps and approximate time reference to prepare prospective applicants for the hiring process for all entry level positions within the Tomball Police Department.  All numeric steps are determined upon several factors including:  the successful completion of each previous step, the continuing status of the current open position and that any portion of the process may be held out of the below listed order.  This list is approximate in duration of time required to complete each portion of the process and based up the applicant status and department status, the time actually necessary to complete the hiring process could be lengthend or shortend.

 10. Interview with the Chief of Police  Within Day 80
 11. Condition Offer of Employment Provided  Within Day 85
