Part-Time Firefighters

James Lutz

James has has been a Firefighter for 13 years. He has attended San Antonio College and UT Helath Science Center in San Antonio. James currently holds his certificate as a Master Firefighter. He has worked at multiple departments, but currently he is serving Village Fire Department and Tomball Fire Department. He hopes to obtain a bachelors degree and become an Officer one day. James would like to thank Tomball Fire Department for allowing him to celebrate his wedding day at Station 5, "Those memories will last forever."
Justin Frank

Justin has been a Firefighter for about 5 years. He attended Lonestar College-CyFair Fire Academy/Paramedic School. He is a current full-time Firefighter/Paramedic in Humble. He plans to continue his education to continue to progress within the Fire Service. He enjoys camping, fishing, snowboarding, and working out.

Carl Nedzel
Firefighter/ EMT-P

Carl received his Bachelor of Art in Geography with a minor in Biology from UT Austin in 2007. He attended Fire Academy at Dallas Fire Rescue in 2012 and UT Southern Paramedic School in 2014. He has worked for the city of Dallas. However, now he serves the communities of Tomball and the city of Bellaire. He hopes to be a well-rounded Firefighter that can adapt to a variety of emergencies that occur throughout the city. When Carl is off duty, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son. They enjoy traveling overseas whether it is vacationing in Cancun or completing mission work in Madagascar, Laos, or Nepal.

Chris has attended the US Army Quartermaster School and the TEEX Fire Academy. He serves both the communities of Tomball and Houston. He currently serves as a Driver/Operator for the Port of Houston Fire Department. Chris hopes to leave the Fire Service better than he found it.

Chris Caron

Chirs attended Lone Star College- CyFair and he holds many certifications, including: Instructor 1, Officer 1, Driver/Operator, Wildland Firefighter, and Advanced Firefighter. He was awarded an honor for Life Saving and Bravery. Chris has served at the Magnolia Fire Department, the Needham Fire Department, and has served the community of Waller. He hopes to be a good husband and father to his wife and kids.

Curtis Garmon has been a Firefighter for about 4 years and is currently finishing his associates degree through Lone Star College. Curtis is a 16 year member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. He hopes to be the best possible role model for his stepsons.

Tyler graduated from Tomball High School and went on to attend Lone Star College Cy-Fair Fire Academy. He has previously worked as a Welder for Round Rock Top Collection in Tomball. Tyler hopes to save lives and he plans on passing his EMT and Paramedic certifications, so that he can one day have obtain a full time job in a big city.
