CITY OF TOMBALL CANCELS FALL AND HOLIDAY EVENTS DUE TO COVID-19 Because of the ongoing threat of COVID-19 and the uncertainty of when guidelines regarding large gatherings will be lifted in Harris County, the City of Tomball is cancelling the remainder of its 2020 festival season. Even though Tomball’s fall festivals and events are being cancelled for audiences attending on-site at the historic downtown Depot, several, such as the Tomball Bluegrass Festival and Light It Up Christmas Tree Lighting, are being considered as candidates for presentation in a virtual format. These virtual activities would be streamed live on the internet and possibly aired on city-owned KTTF – 95.3 FM. Plans for the virtual alternative events will be announced in the coming weeks.
