Update on Utility Billing Schedule and Issuance of Bills
March Bill Update
Thank you to our residents and customers as we restored utility billing operations. Please find the most recent utility billing update below.
MARCH BILLS GENERAL INFORMATION
- March 2023 bills will be issued on Monday, March 20, 2023.
- We have extended the due date for February bills to May 12, 2023.
- There will be no late payment penalties or disconnects if you pay your March bill in full by May 12, 2023.
- If you receive your bill via email, it will be sent from: noreply@mail.tdr.tylerhosting.cloud. Please check your spam folder if you do not see your bill in your inbox.
For Customers with Deposit Credits
- For customers who meet the criteria to have their prior deposit applied to their bill, please note that those deposits are still being reviewed and we anticipate those deposits will be applied on the April 2023 bills.
IMPORTANT SYSTEM CHANGES
CITY-INITIATED BANK DRAFT CUSTOMERS
- If your payment is normally processed via a City-initiated bank draft, you must pay your bill via another payment method. We can no longer process City-initiated bank drafts.
- If you want to continue using a bank draft, you can set up bank drafts through our online payment system (see PAYMENT INFORMATION below).
ONLINE PAYMENT CUSTOMERS
- If you make a payment via a pre-arranged credit card draft, you will need to login to the online system and manually process your payment.
- All automatic drafts have been cancelled so that no customer is drafted for multiple bills as they are issued.
- We can now accept partial payments.
REMINDER - ADJUSTED DUE DATES
- December 2022 bill due date: March 17, 2023
- January 2023 bill due date: April 28, 2023
- February 2023 bill due date: May 5, 2023
- March 2023 bill due date: May 12, 2023
PAYMENT INFORMATION
At this time, customers are able to pay one of the following ways:
In person at 501 James St., Tomball, TX 77375
- We can accept cash, cashier’s checks, money orders, personal checks, or credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express only).
- Office hours are 7:45 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday.
Online through the Municipal Online Payments system
- Go to "How to Pay Your Bill".
- Click on “Online Bill Pay Website” under the “Online” Payment option.
- We can accept credit cards, debit cards, and e-check/bank drafts.
Via Phone by calling the Customer Service Office at (281) 290-1450
- We can accept credit cards payments via phone (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express)

PAYMENT PLANS
We understand the change in the utility billing schedule could produce a hardship for customers. If you want to discuss a payment arrangement, please contact City of Tomball Customer Service at (281) 290-1450.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Various systems are being brought back at different times. This could lead to customer notifications being auto-generated through those systems as they are reactivated. Please call us at (281) 290-1450 or email customerservice@tomballtx.gov if you have any questions about a notice you receive.
