Vincent Mendez was recognized as the Public Safety Officer of the Month by the Greater Area Chamber of Commerce at the First Friday Luncheon on September 1st. As our Lead Mechanic, Vince has done a fantastic job assuring that all vehicles including police, fire, and public works are ready for our day-to-day operations and anything else that we must take on, especially during this extreme heat. Vince can also be found at Tomball festivals and events leading the charge to maintain safety and cleanliness for all to enjoy. For 2022-2023, Vince was honored as the Public Works Employee of the Year for his outstanding performance as a dedicated Public Servant to our Community. Vince is a vital part of Public Works and the Tomball team, and we appreciate all he does for our city!
