Project Description
The City is making improvements to the the Police evidence lot on Malone Street. The upgrade includes adding a 9-foot chain link fence topped with barbed wire, an automatic gate, and an awning to protect property on the lot. This project also includes construction of an evidence processing structure.

N. Sycamore Street Parking Project consists of the reconstruction of the pavement, addition of 36 parking spaces on the west side of the roadway (along the open ditch next to the railroad tracks), and the addition of sidewalks from FM 2920 to Houston Street. Project will start October 2024 and is anticipated to take 3 months to complete.

Full rehabilitation of the the Pine Street Water Well 2 based on performance testing conducted in December 2023. Recommendations included shaft size be upsized to safely accommodate increased performance. By completing the recommended rehabilitation, the well would increase the pumping to the design flow.
