Area families, business owners, and others will join together at Tomball’s Community Center on May 4th starting at 6 p.m. to take part in the annual National Day of Prayer - Tomball Prays Together. This year we are inviting everyone to pray for government & military, media & business, education & churches, and families. We will have local church leaders and city officials present. The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman.
