[ARCHIVED] July 4th Celebration & Street Fest

July 4th News Flash

Beat the heat and stay cool at the July 4th Celebration & Street Fest on Business Highway 249 just north of FM 2920 in Tomball.  Enjoy live music, food, and one of the biggest fireworks shows in Houston. It'll be a patriotic birthday celebration in Tomball as the City stages the biggest Independence Day event in northwest Harris County. Free admission and parking.

Business Highway 249 north of FM 2920 (behind Kroger) will shut down for the annual celebration as the street fills with music, food, vendors, a cool-zone, a kids zone starting at 4:00 p.m. There will be live music starting at 5:30 p.m. with Willow Creek Junction, followed by Breakfast at Tiiffany's. Sing-along to traditional patriotic tunes during the special tribute to veterans and active-duty military. The evening concludes with a giant aerial fireworks display starting at 9:30 p.m.

There will be food vendors to satisfy your taste buds, craft vendors to find unique gifts and custom items, and water inflatables and a cool-zone to beat the heat.

Coolers are allowed, but no alcohol or glass containers may be brought into the festival area.

Parking is available at any parking lot in the "Four Corners" area of Tomball at the intersection of Business Highway 249 and FM 2920. That includes Kroger, Lowe's Target, Academy, Kohl's or H-E-B. There is limited parking at the far north end of Business 249 behind the stage. Enter the limited parking area by heading north on Hicks St.

Tomball Fire Department will be monitoring all weather conditions closely and will keep the public updated regarding the status of the fireworks show.
