Kayla Mundkowsky is currently serving as the Dispatch Supervisor for the City of Tomball. Kayla attended Tomball ISD until graduating from Tomball High School in 2010. She then started working as a Special Education Paraprofessional at Tomball High School for 6 years where she also monitored In-School Suspension for 2 of those years as well as volunteering with the FLAG (Future Leaders and Graduates) After School Program with the Tomball Police Department. Kayla started her career with the City of Tomball in 2018 as a 911 Dispatcher and after almost 6 years of hard work and dedication was promoted to Dispatch Supervisor in January 2024.
Over the years with the City of Tomball she has served as a Field Training Officer, PSAP Coordinator, Terminal Agency Coordinator, Oral Board Interviewer, volunteered with Holiday Heroes, was awarded Public Safety Officer of the Month in April 2023 and is currently on the Build Team for the new Computer Aided Dispatch system. Kayla enjoys spending time with her daughter, pup and family and traveling to her grandparent’s lake house as often as possible.
