Stephen Clough is a Navy Veteran and currently holds the rank of Patrol Sergeant with the Tomball Police Department. He began his career in Law Enforcement in 2012 working for the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office as a Detention Officer. In 2016 he acquired his Basic TCOLE License and was promoted to the rank of Jail Deputy. In April of 2017, he was hired by the Tomball Police Department where he has worked across a variety of different shifts during his 7 years with the Department.
In 2021, he was promoted to the rank of Corporal where he served as a patrol supervisor. In 2023, he transitioned to the position of Corporal of Special Projects where he spearheaded deployment of crime missions, traffic missions, and DWI initiatives throughout the city. In 2024, he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant where he currently resides as the Night Shift Supervisor.
Sergeant Clough holds a Master Peace Officer License, Basic TCOLE instructor license, Field Training Officer Certification, Use of Force Instructor certification, Emergency Vehicle Operator (EVOC) Instructor Certification, a certificate in Force Science, and was recognized by MADD (mothers against drunk driving) in 2020, 2021, and 2024 for his efforts in DWI enforcement. He has an associate’s degree in criminal justice and is currently pursuing his bachelors in Global Cyber Security.
