Jason Smith began his law enforcement career with the Tomball Police Department in 1998. He served the community through various assignments that include dispatch, patrol, investigations, air support, and the Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Smith is currently a supervisor in the Criminal Investigations Division and is the Internal Affairs Coordinator.
Before serving with the Tomball Police Department, Smith volunteered with the Tomball Fire Department. Smith holds a Master Peace Officer Certification and Basic Instructor Certification.
