Captain Davis joined the Tomball Police Department in 2007 and has steadily risen through the rank Corporal, Sergeant and Lieutenant to achieve the position of Captain. His leadership was pivotal in reducing crime rates within the city, establishing proactive initiatives such as the DWI and narcotics task force, and spearheading the Field Training Officer (FTO) program. He has demonstrated exemplary leadership in various departments, including Jail, Patrol, and Criminal Investigations.
During his tenure as Lieutenant in 2020, overseeing Patrol, he developed comprehensive end-of-year reports and strategic plans for the department. He was responsible for supervising reporting on various critical areas including Use of Force, Fleet Accidents, Racial Profiling, Pursuits, and incidents of injuries.
In 2021, he was tasked with leading the Criminal Investigations Division (CID), where he effectively managed cases, investigations, and internal affairs.
In 2022, Davis was promoted to the rank of Captain, where he led the School Resource Division, overseeing 23 schools in the Tomball Independent School District and supervising 12 School Resource Officers
Currently serving as the Patrol Captain, Davis oversees all day-to-day operations and initiatives within the Patrol Division. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and possesses Texas Master Peace Officer Certification, along with being a Certified Intox Operator. Captain Davis is an invaluable asset to the Tomball Police Department.
