2026 at the Tomball Community Center kicked off with plenty of fun, fellowship, and familiar faces at the Tomball Community Center as January brought residents together for food, music, and meaningful community connections.
The month began with our Welcome to the New Years Party on Jan. 2. A total of 93 guests rang in 2026 together while enjoying pizza, cookies, and live music by Cool Freddie E and his crew. The afternoon quickly turned into a dance floor celebration as guests welcomed the new year with energy and excitement.
On Jan. 8, the Community Center hosted a Kaffeeklatsch with Mayor Lori Klein Quinn, welcoming 35 guests for conversation and connection. This casual gathering gave attendees the opportunity to visit with the mayor, ask questions, and enjoy a relaxed morning together at the TCC.
Mid-month fun continued with Bingo & Lunch on Jan. 12, drawing 72 attendees for a classic favorite. Guests enjoyed several rounds of bingo followed by a Chick-fil-A lunch, making it a lively and social afternoon at the Community Center.
Toward the end of January, programming slowed temporarily as Room A received new flooring improvements. The laminate flooring had begun lifting, creating a potential safety concern for guests. To ensure a safer environment for everyone, the space received a much-needed facelift, helping the Tomball Community Center continue to be a welcoming and secure place for the community.
January wrapped up quietly, but it set the tone for another year of connection, fun, and community at the Tomball Community Center. We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back for more programs, gatherings, and good times ahead.
