February 2026 at the Tomball Community Center continued the momentum of the new year, bringing residents together through festive events, engaging programs, and memorable shared experiences centered on connection and community.

The month kicked off on Saturday, Feb. 7 with a Family Valentine event that welcomed 74 participants for an afternoon of creativity and fun. Families enjoyed classic games such as tic-tac-toe, cornhole, and Connect 4, while children created handmade Valentine cards. The celebration was complemented by pizza and cupcakes, with raspberry lemonade and tea served throughout the event, creating a fun atmosphere for all ages.

On Thursday, Feb. 12, the Community Center hosted the Mayor's Kaffeeklatsch that welcomed 46 guests and featured City of Tomball Police Chief Jeff Bert as the special guest. Chief Bert spoke on practical, community-wide safety topics, including how to avoid common scams, the importance of situational awareness, and current issues affecting the area. The discussion offered valuable information and encouraged open dialogue in a comfortable, conversational setting.

Festivities continued on Friday, Feb. 13 with the Valentine’s Prom Party, which drew 68 guests dressed to impress in elegant gowns, sharp suits, and festive Valentine’s flair. Music by Cool Freddie E kept the dance floor lively throughout the afternoon. Guests enjoyed a lunch of spaghetti and meatballs, followed by cake for dessert. The combination of great food, energetic music, and a beautifully dressed crowd made the event a standout celebration filled with laughter, dancing, and lasting memories.

On Monday, Feb. 16, participants took part in the February bus trip to the Downtown Aquarium, where they explored exhibits featuring sharks, stingrays, tropical fish, and an immersive underwater tunnel. The outing offered both fun and educational experiences. Following the visit, the group shared a meal at The Finn in downtown Houston, enjoying good food and even better company, making the trip a highlight of the month.

February also featured two well-attended Bingo & Breakfast events on Feb. 9 and 23, drawing a combined total of 129 attendees. These mornings provided a welcoming space for residents to enjoy a favorite game alongside a shared meal and social time with friends.

February concluded as a month filled with celebration, learning, and togetherness, reinforcing the Tomball Community Center’s role as a place where residents can connect, engage, and feel at home. The Community Center looks forward to continuing to offer programs and events that bring the community together in the months ahead.
