Comprehensive Plan Update

Project Schedule and Events

The Tomball Comprehensive Plan process will occur over a 12-month period between August 2023 and August 2024. The process can be described in four general phases:

1. Project Initiation
2. Drafting Vision
3. Developing the Plan
4. Finalizing the Plan

The City will host a variety of meetings, events, and engagement opportunities that will be open to the public including:

• Community Open Houses
• Community Events
• City Council and Planning & Zoning Commission Workshops
• Stakeholder Interviews
• Online Surveys
• Contacting the Project Team through the project page

Meet the Comprehensive Plan Team

Focus Group

The role of the Comprehensive Plan Focus Group is to serve as ambassadors of the plan to the community and provide guidance to the planning team to ensure proposed updates to the comprehensive plan reflect the interests of the community.

For more than 20 years, TXP has worked on hundreds of projects with clients from private business, public sector and non-profit organizations. TXP serves as economist on retainer for numerous public sector agencies across Texas.
