Sex Offender Information

Sex offender registration for offenders living inside the city limits of Tomball is administered in accordance with Chapter 62 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The sex offender must report in person to register or verify information. For Tomball residents, sex offender registration is located at the Tomball Police Department, 4oo Fannin, Tomball, TX 77375.

Sex Offender registration appointments are accepted Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., and Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Offenders may appear for a “walk-in” appointment during these times; however, it is recommended to call ahead for an appointment at 281-351-5451.

Sex Offenders are required to provide the following information for registration and verification:

  1. Proof of identity-Texas Driver’s License or Texas Identification Card.
    1. The Texas Driver’s License or Identification Card must have the sex offender’s current address, and
    2. When applying for the DL or ID, the sex offender must notify the Texas Department of Public Safety that they are a registered sex offender.
  2. Proof of residence, i.e., a lease, rent receipt, proof of home ownership, utility bill, phone bill, or cable television bill.
